   I have recieved a foreclosure notice that Washtenaw Mortgage Company has transferred my mortgage to Everhome Mortgage company.

   Stated in the assignment states that Washtenaw Mortgage Company address is PO box 2026 Flint Michigan. Googles says this is an address of MERS. I have found this address in assigments from many other mortgage companies. Note that Washtenaw Mortgage company has been out of business since 12/01/2006 per the state of Michigan.
   How can a company transfer the mortgage, when that company does not exist . The mortgage was transferred on 06/23/2010. Whos name is on the post offices registration that owns this po box.

   Does anyone else have this address in any of there paperwork.

   That address is the local MERS office, which might help to explain how so many different organizations seem to have it as an address.

   It was full of people, even if/though MERS claims not to have any employees.

   Google maps does not have a street view of this building.

   They just picked up a property under Beneficial Florida, Inc for less than 1/2 of the listing price. When we called the realtor numerous times about the asking price and they said they’d call when it dropped…..we were willing to pay $60k cash…guess the realtor got a better kick back from the crooks at Beneficial Florida, Inc…..Professional Mortgage Consultants…or whatever they call themselves these day. 1270 Northland Dr., #200, Mendota Hgts, MN 55120.

   Are you all aware of Confidential Resolution BAC-12.31.2012 10K EX.99(a)? It covers 8.2 million single family mortgages that originated from 1/1/2000- 12/31/2008, by “BANA parties”, (Bank of America, Countrywide & others).I found the document on scribd.com. I checked Bank of America’s 10K from 2012 & the con res is referenced there.It states that Fannie Mae would only retain ownership of mortgages whose defects in title were cured by 1/6/2013. The applicable “BANA party” would continue to service for Fannie Mae.If your mortgage servicing was transferred by Bank of America prior to 1/6/13,& your mortgage originated between the above dates, it’s possible that Bank of America was required to repurchase your mortgage from Fannie Mae. (It’s possible that the Guarantor made a claim & got paid).There are 2 schedules & a data file associated w/ the con. res. The SEC granted confidentiality. We need to get our hands on those schedules & data file to know the true status of these mortgages.Here’s a tip: Prior to signing any loan mods, request the attorney’s fee documentation from the servicer.It may say: “REASON SALE WAS CANCELED- HOLD FOR TITLE ISSUE”.
