To put it another way, it’s a throwdown! Geithner and the Fed versus New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman

Bloomberg-

Bank of America Corp. (BAC) may settle a state and federal probe of foreclosure practices in a deal that lets New York proceed with an inquiry into securitizations, according to two people with direct knowledge of the talks.

The firm may pursue an accord with most of the 50 state attorneys general, even if it omits New York’s Eric Schneiderman and at least two other states who are opposed because a deal would impede related inquiries, said one of the people. Negotiations on a broad settlement stalled after Schneiderman indicated he wouldn’t let it block his probe into the bundling and sale of mortgages, said the people, who declined to be identified because talks are private.

Someone tell me how we can allow this Mephistopheles to appear in the same picture as the American Flag?

Obama, you made your choice. Your best decision was to throw ELIZABETH WARREN overboard and save this guy ‘for the People?’ WOW! Telling.

Save all the oil wells it’ll cost to gas up the Darth Vader-mobile. Guess austerity & conservancy only apply to We the People.

You have ‘changed Washington.’ Now your men lie, cheat & steal wrapped in the American Flag in the full light of day. American lives are being taken right here on American soil. Oppression is everywhere. …and you have chosen to ignore it?

Go on the bus ride Mr. President. Keep your eyes and ears wide open. Reap what you have sewn.

I voted for this zero. He makes GWB look like a Boy Scout when it comes to transferring wealth to the rich. Some of my friends still try to defend him saying that he had no choice and that he “inherited” a mess from Bush. But when he stood in front of the nation and promised that he could fix the problem of the out-of-control banks, in my book he could no longer blame anyone but himself once elected. Everything this administration has done is for one reason–to protect the wealthy bankers and corporations. When Europe comes apart and takes the U.S. with it, I hope the masses call not only for his resignation, but for his head.
