Rates for a 30-year fixed mortgage are at 7.27% on average, while rates are averaging 6.4% for 15-year fixed mortgages and 7.27% for jumbo mortgages.Mortgage rates for 30-year fixed loans rose to an average of 7.27% from 7.24% last week, according to data from Curinos. That’s up from last month’s 6.96% and down from last year’s 7.93%.
