Rates for a 30-year fixed mortgage are at 7.31% on average, while rates are averaging 6.43% for 15-year fixed mortgages and 7.26% for jumbo mortgages.

Mortgage rates for 30-year fixed loans rose to an average of 7.31% from 7.17% last week, according to data from Curinos. That’s up from last month’s 6.67% and down from last year’s 7.98%.
