Oregon homeowners who have fallen behind on their mortgages due to the coronavirus pandemic will be protected from facing foreclosure until at least the end of the month.
Oregon Gov. Kate Brown signed House Bill 2009 into law Tuesday, reinstating the state’s moratorium on foreclosures until the end of her coronavirus state of emergency declaration, now set to expire June 30. The new law is retroactive to Dec. 31.
