Bonnielee Dunlop, 40, never thought she would have to move away from the only home her three children have ever known.

She and her husband have lived in the same two-bedroom apartment for over a decade.

The home is close to both their jobs and is just a block away from where their kids go to school.

“My daughter was recently diagnosed with dyslexia, and Queen Mary (school) has done everything to help us with programming, learning equipment, special teachers,” Dunlop told The Hamilton Spectator.

“She’s finally comfortable going to school, my two other kids have all their friends there. Why would we want to leave?”
