During September 2025, home prices mostly continued to fall from their early-spring peak in Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego. Home prices in San Diego and San Francisco are now lower than a year earlier, while annual price movement remains mixed in Los Angeles. As an aggregate compared to this same time last year, California home prices are down 0.7% from a year earlier in the low tier, down 0.9% in the mid tier and down 0.2% in the high tier.
