A popular student loan forgiveness program, Public Service Loan Forgiveness, has always had its problems. But borrowers pursuing PSLF have faced some especially challenging changes of late that have made it harder — if not impossible — to access the relief. PSLF, which President George W. Bush signed into law in 2007, allows many not-for-profit and government employees to have their federal student loans canceled after a decade of payments.
