Mortgage rates have dropped for the second week in a row. According to Freddie Mac, the 30-year fixed mortgage rate has decreased by 12 basis points to 6.69%, and the 15-year fixed rate is down 14 basis points to 5.96%.

Mortgage interest rates probably won’t plummet in the coming months. With rates inching down now and the low demand in winter months, now could be a relatively good time to buy a house.
