FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) — An elderly couple in California was left heartbroken when they were kicked out of the place they called home for decades because of their son.

Videos circulating on TikTok sharing Ismael and Angelita Ramirez’s story have blown up.

They are now displaced and have to start fresh after they were served with an eviction notice in April for the home they have been making payments on for more than 20 years.

“Every month we were paying $700 a month,” said Ismael.
