  1. Melanie Loomos says:

On 8/24/2015, I received notice from Wells Fargo that my loan number would be changing from the one assigned to me by World Savings in 12/2002 to a new loan number due to the fact that Wells Fargo got a new computer system. I called Wells Fargo who advised they were not targeting me, they were getting a new system and all 378,000 loans in the portfolio would be getting new loan numbers.
From 1998 to 2003, I obtained several patents. . .many of which I discovered I obtained when the maintenance fees to the patents became due in 2008. My lawyers did not advise me that I obtained some of the patents.
Anyway, in 2008, my dad, John Loomos, Esq. (who had cosigned for the mortgage on my condo when it was purchased in 1991 and when it was refinanced with World Savings) and I wrote to several authorities due to the fact that we discovered mortgages were recorded through MERS . . .some of which were assigned to my legal description (which got really long – my legal description indicated I owned 4 condos) and at least one of these backdated mortgages stated the bank “owned all royalties from any patents.” My dad died on 1/14/2009.
Back to Wells Fargo, I wrote them in September 2015 and sent them some of the documents my dad and I had done with regard to my World Savings loan number when it was assigned which contained no zeros, then it contained two zeros, then it contained five zeros, etc.. I stated Wells Fargo changing my loan number on 8/24/15 would result in harm to me.
Wells Fargo wrote back and stated they were not changing the terms of my “account.” I then did a little research and discovered after my dad died Wells Fargo filed an ex parte lawsuit against my mother and my mother “assigned units 1-4” over to Wells Fargo (the amended four unit legal description). In addition this was done outside the probate case and I only found it by accident.
Wells Fargo picked up where World Savings and MERS left off and not only separated the Security Instrument from the Note but with me they have separated the loan from the loan number. In the ex-parte lawsuit, the MERS filings were addressed, which means the 40 official records recorded through MERS were not for “information purposes” but are being relied on by the banks to continue to commit fraud and troll for patents.
