Richard X. Bove: There’s a new mortgage crisis brewing

CNBC

In 2008, the nation entered into a financial crisis widely believed to have been caused by excesses in the residential mortgage industry. By 2010, the nation thought it had put in place a series of measures that not only would resolve the crisis but would insure that it never happened again. Are the poor criminal bankers out of customers? Maybe people got sick of hearing how their neighbor got kicked from their house and decided to NOT BUY A HOUSE.

I told David H. Stevens (then FHA Deputy Director) moving to Mortgage Banker Association that if I lose my house I would never ever buy another house. And I told him that many students in Occupy saw way too many people (their parents) losing their homes and they said they would never buy a house.

So, it appears if you screw enough people once, you forever lose them a customers! LOL
