Letter | Bondi says Bank of America breaking rules in national mortgage settlement, floats lawsuit

I am NOT buying this one! She had her chances to defend the homeowners.

She didn’t sue LPS or Nationwide Title, she didn’t successfully go after the process servers and she sure as hell couldn’t sue the foreclosure mills!

Miami Herald-

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi criticized Bank of America on Thursday for failing to follow the rules of a national mortgage settlement reached last year over the practice of robo-signing during the height of the foreclosure crisis.

In a letter to Bank of America’s lawyer, she accuses the banking giant of “troubling” practices, including sending state officials “litigation letters” and failing to modify mortgages in an efficient manner. She floats a future lawsuit against Bank of America or any of the other banks in the settlement as a possibility.

Bondi’s letter comes a month after New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman threatened to sue Bank of America and Wells Fargo over alleged noncompliance with the $25 billion settlement inked between the five largest banks and 49 attorneys general.

  1. lies is all they tell says:

ONLY BOA?????? is there something wrong with this picture. I have one mortgage out of how many in the USA and is all about breaking the law. laws of securitization, modification fraud, and predatory lending. I am hoping to beat them in court. It is the judges. They do not want us to win. They are not educated enough about this or they are paid off to rule a certain way. I beleive we need to all share our stories on here. one day someone will read this and figure that everyone of our cases are different but very much the same. maybe a list is better one can see the differences. My fight is against wells fargo,

    1. Unknown predatory lending. (accused them of putting me in a stated income loan although I have been at the same profession for over 20 years. I have a letter in writing.

2.Modification fraud: losing faxed hamp applications, losing Fed ex mailers that then show up but then missing documents, this list can go on and on. The main problem is being told not to pay the mortgage to manufacture the foreclosure. Oh and i called HOPE for help. when we called wells fargo everything was in order I was in review. 1 week later someone in wells fargo moved my file out of review.

    3.appraisal fraud

    4. No recorded assignments although loan aquired by fannie mae 1 week after closing

    5. Copy of note submitted with service has a robosigned signature of mine and is stamped but not dated

so my list can go on. am i going to win? it is now up to the judge. Sad that my case has come down to one persons decision when there has been so much fraud perped on me. please pray for me and my family. god hears prayers. Read the secret. If i am negative only negative things happen. we must be positive and think only positive thoughts.
