JPMorgan Chase Whistleblower: ‘Essentially Suicide’ To Stand Up To Bank

I hear what she’s saying about googling her name, because I can tell you there were a ton of “Linda Almonte” searches that lead to SFF.

She’s a hero to many.

HuffPO-

When Linda Almonte alerted her boss at JPMorgan Chase about potential fraud in a major deal she was helping to close, she expected him to applaud her great catch.

Instead, he fired her.

“We went down fast,” said Almonte, 41, about her family. She had been making $100,000 a year as a division vice president at Chase, enough to support her stay-at-home husband, their four kids, ages 12 to 22, and rent a three-bedroom house in San Antonio, Texas.

Her move at Chase amounted to “essentially suicide,” Almonte told The Huffington Post. No bank in town would hire her after word spread that she had stood up to the banking giant, she said. After more than a year of fruitless job hunting, Almonte and her family left town, landing at a hotel near Disney World, paying $300 a week for a two-bedroom with a kitchenette.

  1. Hello,

I would like to send your team a copy of my Independent Foreclosure Review application with supportive documents, that I just filed with the Federal Reserve Bank’s Federal Administrator. It is my sad story.

It contains the maddening story of the torturous exercises by JPMorgan Chase to cripple a decorated, service-connected disabled Vietnam Veteran and his business property, over a (3) year period, with fraudulent and deceptive behavior from their position of greed, no lender accountability, shifting procedures, and recorded lies. My case has been described as “an early casualty of the mortgage crisis”, so being first to the gallows had the most active blood-thirsting and raucous mob of Chase’ agents to have a field day. Over a dozen times in the first official year of foreclosure, I was given a date for the sheriff to stand on my doorstep to auction off my property, only to have that execution postponed for a few more weeks, as Chase had no directive, (but could cash in on the derivative), to complete their foreclosure. So, after a year of going to the gallows, getting the Chase Foreclosure Auction noose put around my neck, and Chase failing to kick the bucket I figuratively stood on, they postponed the auction again and again.

Then, one day I received notice from the County Treasurer that though I had quit the battle for the property to Chase more than a year before, that Chase withdrew their foreclosure. Chase had failed to satisfy the County Treasurer’s requirement of completing their action within the time limitation they had to satisfy. They ravaged my life, ran over my life’s hard-earned equity, triggered health issues, and then left me to lie in my own pool of blood, without the mercy of completing their execution.

They re-opened their foreclosure, the second one, then I brought (2) buyers to them, but they continued their exercise to put their blinders on to sell the place off right away, and went through another arduous, torturous exercise to sell my life’s savings at auction, finally. For less than what the buyers were offering.

It goes on. It’s in the documents. I am sending this to several media organizations to see what their investigative analysis thinks about the shenanigans of JP Morgan Chase, and their latest media attempt to look like they are a company with whom to do business.

Thanks for your consideration. If you are interested, please send me a mailing address.

    Best regards,
    George
