The posse of Wall Street Sheriffs just got bigger: Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley joined Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden. AG Coakley’s effort is the most comprehensive to date by far, in that she sues five major banks (Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Citigroup and Ally) and MERS for unlawful and deceptive conduct. (AG Masto still retains the title as the only AG bold enough to indict people.) Her suit does not include all the kinds of claims other AGs have alleged, however, and some of the claims are uniquely provable under Massachusetts law.

I AGREE WITH DANI; but, I have a question for the Ags, Congress, and the White House. How can anyone allow any bank to foreclose on anyone whose house has been securitized and or whose house has overwhelming fraud all over the foreclosure docs? Everyone knows the banks committed intentional fraud, which was malicious, has destroyed jobs, communities, and the global economy, so why would any act of such dastardly consequences be allowed to occur at the hands of a criminal?
Every homeowner being foreclosed has a right to stay in their homes and to not abide by the direction of criminals. Why arent they treated as all criminals are? Do you allow a bank robber to continue robbing banks? Or a burglar to continue breaking in to homes? What has this country come to, allowing KNOWN criminals to BARGAIN, to SETTLE to GET OUT of JAIL free? If people see that while they were the targets of ruthless, cold, callous bankers, their suffering is taken in vain and that the RULE of LAW does not apply to BANKS then why should any of us follow it?
