Mortgage refinance doesn’t belong in the settlement talks

Will add that by signing “new docs” you will create “new paper”… Banks and The “People” that work for them, doing what comes naturally and secretly going around cutting corners? The Fraudulent Twins – When we’re talking about reducing payments to Freddie and Fannie mortgage holders, we’re really talking about reducing payments to ourselves. Lets not forget the talks about the government rental program… inventions never end.

Like everything else they attempt, these too shall fail.

p.s. Flip Flop BS: What ever happened to “A key objection is the “moral hazard” created by the proposal to reduce homebuyers’ loans because it “rewards those who simply choose not to pay their mortgage”?

REUTERS-

The WSJ has the latest mortgage-settlement trial balloon, and it’s pretty weak tea: under the terms of the deal, if (a) you’re underwater on your mortgage, and (b) you’re current on your mortgage payments, and (c) your mortgage is owned by the bank outright, rather than having been securitized, then you would be given the opportunity to refinance your mortgage at prevailing market rates.

this is BULL because NOBODY will qualify because EVERYBODY’S MORTGAGE HAS BEEN SECURITIZED!!!!!!!!!!!!

    DUH.

i would qualify on my AWFUL $3K a month payment IFFFFFFF my mortgage hadn’t been SECURITIZED!!! i have sent QWRs to the bank but they haven’t answered a THING regarding my securitization (they said my QWR “did not refer to anything related to securitization” but that too is BS because I dedicated an entire section of it to this. the OCC is “reviewing my case” but God knows that will take a year).

i have been literally working myself into an EXHAUSTED DEPRESSION because we are lucky enough to have jobs that can allow us to pay our AWFUL mortgage to this PONZI SCHEME — but not to afford anything else but bills and principal and homeowner’s insurance on our inflated property values. and this is a THREE BEDROOM TWO BATH HOME! not some damned luxury mansion.

I NEVER ASKED FOR MY MORTGAGE TO BE TRADED TO MERS. I NEVER ASKED FOR MY MORTGAGE TO BE SECURITIZED. i know this doesn’t matter to the borrower, and that the borrower has no say in the securitization process, BUT FOR GOD’s SAKE WE HAVE WORKED SO HARD and ALL I WANT is to save a little money every month and be able to let my mom retire before she’s 75 and to let me not be chained to an awful mortgage we were stuck with after a nasty divorce. AND if the bank is “supposed to” provide the borrower any and all related securitization information per the RESPA act of 1974 and any amendments, then by ALL MEANS, show me the paper trail!!!!

WHERE IS LADY JUSTICE? She’s sucking a Koch brother’s DICK. that’s where.

WHAT ABOUT MY HOME ? MY HOME WAS SOLD AT AUCTION, CHASE BANK
PURCHASED THEN DEEDED TO THE VETERANS AFFAIRS. I CONTACTED
THE V.A. WITH AN OFFER TO LEASE MY HOME. I WAS TURNED DOWN.
TITLE 38 U.S.C. VETERANS BENFITS, “THE SECRETARY HAS AUTHORITY TO
DO ANYTHING HE WANTS WITH THE PROPERTY”. IF THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT AID A DISABLED VETERAN AND FAMILY WHAT WILL THEY
    DO FOR OTHERS ???
