Isn’t it a violation of federal banking regulations to refuse a customer’s request to close their account? This sounds like the banks are trying to stop a “run on their deposits”. This all harkens back to the 1930s depression era financial issues.
I think you’re absolutely right. Unless there is some sort of a “Levy”….This is discrimination. So what if you’re a protester, so what…. this is money that belongs to a customer. This is wrong no matter what the customers beliefs are. They are holding people’s money ransom for what ever reason.
