Attorney General Biden’s Statement on New York’s Removal from Executive Committee of
States’ Foreclosure Investigation

Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden issued the following statement concerning the removal of Attorney General Eric Schneiderman from the Executive Committee of the 50-state foreclosure investigation:

“Whether on or off the Executive Committee, Attorney General Schneiderman has and continues to raise important and legitimate concerns about the scope of the releases being demanded by the banks as part of the multistate settlement, concerns he and I have raised for many months with our colleagues. I believe that the events leading up to the mortgage crisis must be fully investigated, including origination and securitization practices, before any broad immunity is granted — the American people deserve an investigation.”

  1. That’s it, this is the whole article? Homeowners paying every Month for 17 years is hardly a dead beat. Now lets add Chase the fuck me bank that on Jan.09 after I was late on credit card raise interest from 6.95% to 28.95% and after calling for 5 months to beg for interest rate drop a banker said to me,”MS. Mc Donald we do not have to help you”. Then add in 13 Months BofA took my entire SSDI check automatic to pay mtg.I called every month. Dec.2010 stopped automatic withdrawal of payment.
I feel States more concerned for Investors. Delaware helps w/ gatherings for homeowners to meet bankers & fill another application, surely the office could look into Countrywide or MERS DE.CORP. Help the ones really hurting.
