VOICE Demands Immelt, GE, Bank of America, JP Morgan Address Foreclosure Crisis

Uploaded by on Apr 22, 2011

On April 10th 2011, 250 religious leaders and homeowners from VOICE (Virginians Organized for Interfaith Community Engagement) gathered in Manassas, Virginia to launch a campaign to hold key financial institutions accountable for the foreclosure crisis in northern Virginia. They are demanding bank executives streamline the mortgage modification system, fund non-profit housing counselors, and rebuild devastated communities (led by the worst lender in Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas Park – GE and Jeff Immelt).

  1. Mark says:

Here’s another example of banksters violating the RICO ACT…When is the government and the courts going to see what’s going on here…This just backs up the 60 Minutes program of 4/3/2011!
The vast majority of properties that were sold, or refinanced in the last 10 years have had their title history intentionally destroyed by the banks.
This is what is ultimately affecting property values, market confidence and tax bases everywhere.
Wake up America…Defend your property, but most of all defend your rights…You have the right to have your day in court, and to be heard by a judge who is’nt being paid by the banksters.

TODAYS MORTGAGES ARE NOTHING BUT A BIG PONZI SCHEME.

  2. Mark says:

Here’s one more tidbit for you, especially if you’re being forclosed on: THE ORIGNINAL MORTGAGE IS USUALLY ALWAYS ON FILE WITH THE CLERK’S OFFICE AND CAN BE FOUND ON THEIR PUBLIC WEBSITE.
HOWEVER, SUBSEQUENT ASSIGNMENTS IN THE LAST FEW YEARS ARE HARDLY EVER RECORDED UNTIL A FORECLOSURE IS INITIATED.

IF THE ORIGINAL MORTGAE HAS A “MERS” CLAUSE, YOU CAN ALMOST BE ASSURED THE TRANSFERS HAVE NOT BEEN PROPERLY RECORDED. YOU COULD BEGIN WITH YOUR CURRENT SERVICER AND ASK THEM WHO TRULY HOLDS THE NOTE AND MORTGAGE AND SEE IF IT CORRELATES. YOU SHOULD ALSO REQUEST A COPY OF THE CURRENT NOTE AND MORTGAGE TO MAKE SURE SIGNATURES ON THE NOTE CORRELATE WITH TRANSFERS OF THE MORTGAGE. THEY MORE THAN LIKELY WILL GIVE YOU A RUN AROUND, BUT IT IS WORTH PURSUING.

IF YOU DETERMINE THAT SOMETHING IS SUSPICIOUS, YOU SHOULD CONSULT AN ATTORNEY IMMEDIATELY.
