What was left out was the corresponding Penal Code to the violations of Civ Code 2932.5. Penal Code 115, 115.5 and 470 deal with filing for record documents of property title, and 115.5 specifies a fine of up to $75,000 per document. These fall under the general category of forgery under (PC 470) which defines incarceration of 1 – 4 years. If equity in the property is greater than $10k, then PC 487, grand theft kicks in, and disallows probation for the forgery.
Any of these criminal acts pretty much voids the documents in question.
