If Sandra Hines was living in her parents’ family home the payments would be less than rent. If she re-financed it and took money out of it the payments would be much higher.

We all started small and worked hard. Many of us lost businesses and homes. We started over. We didn’t ask the nanny-government to save us from struggle.

Take responsibility. It is not the government’s money that bails people out – it is the People’s money.

The government’s money is our money.

Why is it that people always want to blame the homeowners ? Do you think every single loan that’s being foreclosed on today was given to some hopeless, hapless, money wasting idiot that couldn’t afford the payment ? There have been multiple studies done in the mortgage industry to try and discern were the lies came from in the so-called Liar’s Loans. Guess what ? It was the lenders who were either encouraging the “white lies” regarding income and ability to re-pay, or the lenders themselves who were lying on the applications. That’s right. The lenders were filling in the blanks, upping the income, and doing whatever they could to process as many mortages as they could. They were told, get as many mortgages written as you can. They all knew it was a freakin money train. From brokers, to the appraisers to the title offices, they were all blind with greed. They were all making money off a carefully contrived mortgage scheme. Bankers wanted as many mortgages written as possible so they could pool them and securitize them and sell them to investors. Insurance companies even wrote policies to insure against the losses everyone knew were going to come, and they made money off that. When is America going to wake up and start BLAMING THE BANKS AND THE GOVERNMENT and STOP blaming their fellow Americans. Do I think there were lots of people who got into mortgages they couldn’t afford ? Of course I do. That’s the nature of the beast. Everyone wants stuff that other people have. Home ownership is the American dream. Was it stupid for them to get involved in a loan obligation that they might not be able to fulfill in the long run ? Of course it was. However, when people were being told the value of their home would go up and they’d be able to re-finance down the road so they didn’t need to worry about the interest rate being set to go up a year from then, because they wouldn’t end up having to make those payments, a lot of people jumped at the opportunity to buy a home.

American citizens need to band together and hold the banks accountable for their crimes against the people.

If people won’t stand together, they’ll be divided and fall. Then, the words of Thomas Jefferson will be fulfilled:

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation,
the banks and corporations that will grow up around them (around the banks), will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

  4. DONNA DEANGELO says:

THEY BANKS ADDED $190,000.00 TO MY LOAN.
SHOULD I JUST BEND OVER AND TAKE IT ?

YOU PEOPLE JUST AREN’T GETTING IT,

    THIS ISN’T ABOUT THE POOR,PEOPLE.

THIS IS ABOUT THE BANKS COMMITTING FRAUD
    AND GETTING AWAY WITH IT!

    IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU!

ANYONE WHOM HAS A LARGE AMOUNT OF EQUITY NEEDS TO WORRY.

THE BANKS ONLY SEE YOU AS A CHECK.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Sandra Hines? I’d like to thank her for speaking for the “little” people.
